Yunnan means "Beautiful Clouds in the South". It's the most south-western region of China, bordering the countries of Vietnam, Laos, and Burma.
In Yunnan there are 25 different ethnic minorities, making it the most culturally diverse province in China. I travelled in Yunnan in August 2002.
